From the Hip – Bonus Benefit Concert
Due to popular demand we’ve added a SECOND ‘From the Hip’ show on Friday covering a different album! Saturday Nov 29th show is SOLD OUT.
Join us for an amazing night on Friday November 28th in support of Rose of Sharon! The incredible band ‘From the Hip’ will hit the stage for a night of solid tunes perfectly covering one of Canada’s best bands, ‘The Tragically Hip’. The concert will be held at the Market Brewing Taproom. We are very grateful for sponsorship from our friends at NewRoads Toyoto and ongoing support by Amanda Wilson and Samantha Gowda-Singh of Desjardins Insurance.
Doors open at 7PM with ‘From the Hip’ launch at 8PM. The band will cover the album ‘Road Apples’ in its entirety and play the band’s classic hits for the second half of the night. From the Hip have been rockin’ since 2018 and as a group of passionate Tragically Hip fans they strive to honour the band’s music and keep their traditions alive with an incredibly authentic show.
There will be fun activities with a majority of proceeds going to Rose of Sharon. Tickets are $30 online in advance or $40 at the door (if available). Enjoy Market Brewing beer, Hard & Fancy seltzer/margarita, cider, red/white wine and non-alcoholic options too!
If you’re a diehard Hip fan and already purchased tickets to the Saturday show AND you’re looking to come to both shows, you’ll save $5 per ticket for the Friday concert! It must be the same individual who purchased initially or the deal will not apply.
Standing room only as the Taproom will transform into a concert venue for the evening with limited seating (no reservations)! This event is 19+. No refunds within 7 days of the event. No outside drinks are allowed. Tickets cannot be transferred to the Saturday night show which is SOLD OUT.
