Child Development Centre
The Child Development Centre is a stimulating and nurturing environment that is designed for children ages 0-6 years and their mothers. Our experienced staff and dedicated volunteers strive to meet the needs of individual children. They provide developmentally appropriate activities and learning that focuses on the whole child.
Mothers are supported with any parenting challenges or concerns and are encouraged to share their successes. Our friendly staff team is available for consultation and can provide resources specific to their experiences.
Ujima Project – Group workshops for caregivers of children under 6 years. Learn more about language, literacy and the development stages that your little one will experience. This is the perfect time to chat with our friendly staff to answer any questions about parenting and/or child development.
Baby Love – Group program for caregivers and their babies ages 2-18 months. Together, we will talk about:
• The importance of attachment
• Ways to make your baby feel secure
• How to help your baby deal with stress
• Sessions include activities for babies & caregivers, practice sessions, Q&A.
