Volunteers are VIP’s at Rose of Sharon! We rely on the support of dedicated community members to help make our programs and services available to young families.
Current Volunteer Positions
Childminders
We are looking for people to help provide care and supervision (along with Rose of Sharon staff) for babies and young children while moms participate in on-site programs and services.
- Variety of days/times available
- TB test is required for childminding volunteers
Volunteer Drivers
We are looking for community volunteers to deliver Family Care Packages containing essential items such as food, pantry staples, formula and diapers to the homes of moms across York Region from our main office in Newmarket.
