In this time of recovery from the Covid pandemic, food security is the paramount concern to the young mothers of York Region. Donations are needed to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables among other staples to provide a stable source of groceries for their clients.

The Ballantrae Social Committee has supported Rose of Sharon for many years. In the past, we raised money at events where we enjoyed food, entertainment and socializing. This is not feasible yet so we are launching an online fundraising campaign.  Since Mother’s Day is Sunday May 8^th, our campaign will raise money to support this charity for the month of May.

The committee encourages the Ballantrae Golf & Country Club residents to make an online donation to the Rose of Sharon by clicking here. Every donation over $20.00 will receive a tax receipt.
